Lateefah Simon is a 25-year veteran organizer and nationally recognized advocate for civil rights and social justice. She is also an elected member of the Bay Area Rapid Transit board of directors and the President of MeadowFund. Simon also previously worked as the executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area. Simon is also running for California’s 12th congressional district for the 2024 United States Senate Election in California.
